So it does have stripes. They are almost impossible to discern at close range and under certain lighting conditions. That could be kind of interesting with changing weather.

So far, I'm not a huge fan of the glass from a pedestrian's POV...but I'm sorta partial to it when cruising by on LSD. The solid wall of reflective glass breaks up the monotony of the buildings around it - it's a shot in the arm. The cladding is also somewhat contextual to all of the glassy towers on the river that you see 10 seconds later.

Maybe it's that I wasn't looking at the renderings closely enough, but I actually wasn't expecting this one to be a completely glass-clad box. I guess I had been assuming the 'stripes' were another type of cladding. Although I'll still reserve judgement of the glass quality, I like this very simple glass box thrown in between the much more 'solid' facades of the buildings directly north and south of this one....

This is a construction thread btw.
Yes, I am overtaken by envy that you dye your river the color green to trap tourists.

and the topic was brought up by somebody else so I don't see how that matters.

Red face

Why do i have a feeling this building would not come out to look like the design in the pictures. I don't see the stripes in the building, the stripes are what give the design the outstanding look!

You can see the stripes on post 162, it appears that they are only on a few sides of the building

They go all the way around the building. They are even in that last photo if you look closely enough (look in the shadow; its the same view as post 162). It's just that the color difference in the glass is so subtle that they only show in certain lights at certain angles. I don't know if that was intentional or not.
