I was biking on the Wantagh Parkway to Jones Beach, and I can usually see the supertalls of the city from there. This thing is huge as heck right behind the Empire State, even from 30 miles away. Pictures didn’t turn out well.

I'm going to Eagle Rock Reservation, possibly this weekend, to snap pics. Its a good area in NJ to appreciate the skyline and super talls from a distance. Highly recommend it for those in the NJ area, over in West Orange, NJ. One of those locations where a high visibility day is optimal.

Bear Mountain might I add is also a good spot. Can get that North to South view of the Island from a distance. Again, a high visibility day is required.

Righteous.

And with so very much to be built.......

I just wish Bjarke's Torque Twins could've been higher...assuming the UC at far left of the pano is indeed tower #1.

I got a good glimpse of this driving down Amsterdam Avenue today, and its size is apparent even from up in Harlem. Just looks intimidating with the deck pointing East.

When 30 Hudson Yards opens in 2019, it will house the highest outdoor observation deck in the western hemisphere. At 1,100 feet above ground, the 7,500-square-foot outdoor viewing area will extend 65 feet from the 100th floor. Additionally, programming will include a restaurant, bar and event space run by renowned hospitality group rhubarb, making celebrations in the sky a reality.

Reminder of what the finished crown will look like...

Well, isn't that last photo about 200 tons of nuck me fumb droolage...............

How the hell can the Midtown skyline alone now look bigger than when people were photographing both skylines in the same shot when the Twins were still there?

And that is Verre hiding behind the lightpole next to 432P, no?

Yeah its Verre.

Might come down to angle. Midtown is frikin huge.

But I did take Lower Manhattan no worries!

Jersey City really adds to the depth of it all. Feels like its one, a fused skyline mass. Likewise from certain angles on the turnpike, DoBro comes into play, and it looks like one massive, elongated blob of skyscrapers.

And just for shit and giggles, here's one I took last week via Throggs neck as a comparison.

So we can conclude Midtown is ridiculous in size.
