Not on Radio, but well established in the music scene . Ive been working with this guy for years. Great personality and voice. Not a Ronnie Radio. Very distinctive voice. He has a very good vibe for a crowd.

I personally think Mark Lewis was really good. But this guy would take it to a new level. Crosses fingers.

If they are trading for Subban, a $6M guy has to go the other way because of the salary cap down the road - consider how much they'll have to pay McDavid after his ELC. Ebs has caught on with McDavid, and I'm reluctant to trade away centres because of the team's long-time shortcomings in that position. McD needs a mean pitbull who can score.

If Hall is untouchable - then Nuge. Plus I would throw in Yakupov in any deal with Montreal, he would be better off reuniting with Galchenyuk.

Good break down.

But I truly believe the Habs are not going to part ways with PK. Hes to valuable to Montreal. So the rumor is moot. Hes a huge community guy plus a number one d man in the NHL. Extremely hard to find.

Of course I say this from my arm chair with a beer in my hand.

Oilers pick Tyler Benson with their 2nd round pick, a local guy who was once hyped as a Next One but has been hampered by injury.

McKenzie: Edmonton suddenly ‘a hot ticket for some players’

ByChris NicholsPosted on June 28, 2016

Bob McKenzie was on Vancouver’s TSN 1040 on Tuesday morning, and what turned into a question on where he saw Milan Lucic signing turned into a soliloquy on the increasing attraction of Edmonton to free agents.

“Well, certainly Edmonton is a primary consideration,” for Lucic, began McKenzie. “You know, it’s funny. Edmonton, historically, has been the non-starter for unrestricted free agency, and this is the impact of winning the draft lottery and getting Connor McDavid. Suddenly, even though the Oilers have been a tire fire for a decade, suddenly it’s a hot ticket for some players. And Connor McDavid is at top of the list why that would be.”

McDavid might be the obvious pro-Edmonton factor, but McKenzie shifted the focus to a different element coming online for the fall.

The secondary reason: This new rink they’ve got is, by all accounts – I haven’t seen it myself, but I’ve talked to people they have – and they said that this thing takes ‘state of the art’ to another level,” relayed McKenzie. “And that when Drake Caggiula was going through and saw the rink, he was completely, totally, utterly blown away by the facilities and what they’ve got.”

The NHL Insider continued.

Hall gone would have given up the whole roster before Hall, minus McDavid.

LW open hey... Lucic plays LW... we need size... he knows Chia hmmm...

I will miss Hall in some manner I guess, but more than a few reasons I am ok with him being dealt. I like Larson, young, puck moving, a D man, right handed, 22mins...

If Lucic comes up here he would most likely play left for McDavid. Hall didn't play with McDavid and that was a good thing, we had two number one lines. Now we only have one power line.

The media experts are universally panning the deal saying Oil got robbed.

That's one reason I like it so much. Will miss Hall no doubt - that bull-in-a-china-shop menacing speed is hard to find.

But, he was a defensive liability on a team rife with them - Lucic seems a good answer and, AND opens up salary cap room.

Let's see, who else might be of interest on the free agent list? http://www.hockeybuzz.com/cap-central/freeagents.php

Terrible trade, PC got taken to the woodshed on this one
Akin to the Ricky Ray to Argos for...for?
Feel bad for Larsson; unless the kid has a Norris worthy season, he's going to get picked apart by every armchair GM in the city

Trade should have been Hall for Larsson + Roster Player + Prospects and or Picks

Who says Lucic is signing with Edmonton? We might not get anyone to replace Hall's offence. Then what? Move Draisaitl to LW and pray that he can transition to that position?
Risky play by PC, hope he has an ace up his sleeve

^ Agreed. Possibly Demers too.

But, letting the info out early might cost the Oil the same $50k Vancouver was hit with earlier this week.

Besides, we still don't know how good Brandon Davidson or Oscar Klefbom can be ... but both sure looked good for rookies!
