Perhaps someone in the know might be able to enlighten, but when are they planning to construct the extension of the paved walk on the south side of Cesar Chavez abutting the river? I know it's planned but I can't imagine they'd want to wait much longer considering all these projects across the street that will be coming on line over the next couple of years.

Yes. I read somewhere--God I wish I could remember where, but I read recently that they are going to start upgrades on it later this year. Perhaps in Q1~Q2.

Maybe it was in Community Impact?

ETA: Yes I'm positive it was Community Impact, though they have a tendency to make older articles obscenely difficult to find

I really wish they would just go ahead and continue it to the Pfluger bridge.

In terms of finding old articles on Impact News, I've found it easiest to just use Google and include site:impactnews.com at the end of my search string.

That low-rise building is absolutely dreadful. I'm really worried about how the tower is going to look.

Yeah, the low-rise could be a few floors higher. I actually like the overall design of it though.

The tower on the other hand.....I was never a huge fan of this final design. I really liked it when they had the 360esque slanted roof thing going on. Perhaps someone has a photo? It was very brief...maybe 2012 or 13

I agree about the low-rise building to the west of the tower.
Seems like a wasted opportunity, more than anything else.
As for the tower, I don't think I ever saw the design with the 360esque,
slanted roof. Here are the renderings from the seaholm site, itself:
(http://seaholmresidences.com), itself:

While I'm not a fan of parking garage pedestals, in general, I'm glad to see
that they took out the notch on the NW corner and added the murals. That will
at least make the garage more aesthetically appealing at the street level.

I like the artistic license used in the first rendering with the Green Water park.

The low-rise is under a Capitol View Corridor. It could not be an inch taller than it is.

That is criminal trespassing. I thought we agreed to not publicize criminal photography and therefore encourage this behavior.

Don't jump to conclusions. Maybe it's an Athena Health employee. They moved in a week ago. (Although I don't think ahealy works there.) .

Considering this isn't an incident that actually harmed anyone, I don't think there's anything wrong with someone sharing the photos here. Besides, we're not condoning it even by allowing it to stay. If someone wants to break the law and then publish it - thereby increasing their chances of getting caught, I'm not going to stop them.

Our position in this case is pretty much the same as with the "highrise tip toeing" photos that were posted a while back.

Yes, but I thought the consensus was to disallow those photographs?

Disallow what? Photos that you suspect were taken by a trespasser? Are you a judge and jury of internet content?

No. I even asked Dylan Leblanc about it, (he founded SkyscraperPage). What I said was basically relaying what he told me.
