So what price per square foot does he want in Hamilton? Seems it will be in the 550 range - meaning I bedrooms at about 330,000 plus parking. I think he is over estimating how much demand there is in the city for units like this.
I just don't think the city's job base can support all these higher price condos, but for renters in a few years due you will be able to snag good deals.
I really don't like people keep bringing up how close Toronto is - it's an hour and 400/month go train ride away. With that much being spent on go train people can afford Toronto. These units will be for people living and working in the region.
