The Towers will have a Fashion Show Lane address. It will ultimately be connected to The Plaza, so, for all intent and purpose, it is a strip project.
Laguna's right though, about strip developments. The only cancellations are Ivana, Montreux and Maxim. One could count Icon too, as it was only 400' from the strip. And all of them, save Icon, are better off dead - IMHO.
As long as I'm posting, I'll throw in my two cents about the 'rump Tower(s)
-Boring design
-Ugly (tacky) color
-Low ceilings
-small uninteresting units
-No balconies
-Adult bookstores and sex shops as neighbors
-Lovely parking garage curb appeal
I don't care who built it, it's just not a good project. mttbox is right, people will love it 'cause it has the 'rump name on it. The same folks that think Starbucks (over-roasted) coffee is actually good and Prada shoes are worth $1,000.
