MONTREAL | Place de la Cité Internationale (Phase 2) | 16 FLOORS

Finally after so many years of checking the " under construction site"...Westcliff has an active web page http://westcliff.ca/

Maybe , just maybe they are going to finally announce their tower in la Cite International...good sign anyways. Very basic website but it's a start...

MONTREAL | Place de la Cité Internationale (Phase 2) | 16 FLOORS

An other office development in the International Quarter. We've all been waiting for this one for a long time now, still no word or news. Nevertheless the project remains approved.

A 31 floor office tower to serve as a second phase to the first phaser built a decade ago. The investment is of $200 million and thus serves as one of the biggest private endeavors so far in the city.

scaled model. Courtesy of Gilbert.

The site, still covered with grass, we're still waiting...picture by francely.

Please post if you have better images, pictures, renderings, information about anything, including the square footage or any news s'il vous plait!

This is a rendering that is at least 10, if not 15 years old. The project is very unlikely to go up -even thought the foundation and the underground levels are already built -which should put the developper a step ahead of anybody because it would be able to deliver its building at least 18 months ahead of anybody.

Its not completely dead, I'm willing to wait another year max. Also if the 701 goes up first then I think we can write it off.

This building's render has changed. It is no longer 31 floors, but instead somewhere between 15 and 20.

After Aimia/Altoria and Tour Deloitte, let's watch this one as the next office building in Montreal. Height remains a question mark though.

My bet is that it is going to be higher than 15-20 floors and therefore design will have to be reviewed.

i think we need not fear, given the high unlikelihood that this site will be developed before the end of the decade.

I wouldn't bet on that. I think it will be the next office building after Aimia and Tour Deloitte.

Its possible, given the fact that it is smaller and therefore easier to fill up with clients. Sadly

if i were betting, i'd think that the mixed use office/residential projects in griffintown, the office portion of icone and 900 maisonneuve will all come before this. and with that much capacity in the pipes, i just don't see the demand for this, unless it's to be purpose built, like the udem portion of the voyageur site. this is all quite apart from the fact that it's a ludicrous waste of potential on a site of that size and profile.
