It's not done yet, but its getting pretty close. Construction fencing is down on the south side and just temporary jersey barriers are up. Still working out the other three sides.

Reconstructed Fiterman Hall To Reopen Monday
By: NY1 News

http://www.ny1.com/content/top_stori...-reopen-monday

Quote:
Nearly 11 years after the September 11th terrorist attacks, the reconstructed Fiterman Hall is set to reopen tomorrow, replacing a Borough of Manhattan Community College building damaged in the attack.

The $325 million, 400,000-square-feet building houses 80 classrooms, an art gallery and a music ensemble room and is designed let plenty of natural light inside.

The original Fiterman Hall was badly damaged when 7 World Trade Center collapsed after the terror attacks.

Many BMCC students have been forced to attend class in trailers along the West Side Highway.

The old Fiterman Hall was demolished by 2009.

BMCC's president says the influx of students since September 11th has given the school the largest undergraduate student body in the city.

What a great rebound story for that school - these students will have a great facility to learn in.
