This is the post I agree with the most.
There is a certain type of sports fan for whom even if you brought Ben Roethlisberger or Aaron Rodgers to the CFL, the fact that they're in the CFL would be the kiss of death. It would mean they're not good enough for the NFL, washed out or flameouts.
Flutie wasn't washed up when he came to the CFL and yet attendance didn't skyrocket even though it was better.
Raghib Ismail I believe was a Heisman winner straight out of college, you had all the entertainment at SkyDome (Blues Brothers band, etc.?) and while attendance increased, they weren't even close to selling out.
