Boise 2007

Most of the pics are from photo threads I have posted in 2007, along with some new and unposted pics. The thread begins with recent Christmas pics and the rest are separated by the four seasons.

The weekend before Christmas

Winter/January

Near Veterans State Park on the Greenbelt

Lucky Peak area outside of the city

Spring

North side of the Boise Mountains above the city.

Views from Table Rock

Summer

Boise River, Parkcenter area

Autumn

Very nice pics. Love the evening twilight shot of downtown from the mountain. The pink bike in the snow was kinda strange (but maybe I was developing snow blindness ). How close did you get to that fox?

Thanks for the tour Sawtooth.

Thank you! I first saw the fox roaming through the Rose Gardens and then he or she headed to the river and I was able to get within a few feet to take the pics. The fox seemed to be used to humans and wasn't scared of me. There have been black bears in Boise recently, coming down out of the mountains, and I sure would not want to run into one of them, except to take a photo of course

Beautiful photos. I remember seeing some of them, and it's always good to see them again; Boise looks like a wonderful place to live, and the surrounding countryside looks so clean and pristine.

Wow, terrific thread. Fun to see Boise in all the different seasons. So cool that you caught that fox on film.
