hello Bow, as seen from Rideau Ridge SW

Eighth Avenue Place on the left and the Bow on the right are the 2 most noticeable of the multi-billions of dollars CDN of construction projects going on. For example, the new south hospital is costing an astonishing $1.6 billion to build.
The Bow is costing well over a billion dollars to construct.

Nice shots Jimby! Both the Bow and EAP are really changing the skyline.

Definitely making an impact from that view.

Doing a quick inaccurate measurement seems to tell me that the top of the building is just above the top of the picture that you referred to.

Yes, from that angle, the final height should come in somewhere around that point.

Yep, seems like the pace is now 3 floors every 3 weeks, which means that this tower will top out this summer.

At that pace, top out would be about 15 weeks from now.

July 9th is 15 weeks from today.

Am I blind? I'm not seeing that. Also, if the triangular diagrid sections cover multiples of 6 floors, that's up to 36 currently...and I see 6 floors more (in the middle section). I'm still seeing it at 42--not that it really matters.

They do seem to be quickening the pace of the 3 floor sections--maybe just due to it being routine at this point. Either way, the topping-out should happen this summer. I'm so enjoying watching The Bow grow, and with all the regular pics I feel like I'm in Calgary on an almost daily basis! The initial excitement of the hole in thre ground seems so long ago, and now the final product seems so near.

You might be right, hard to tell if that column isattach up front, and down low, or higher up and more in the interior of the building. Either way, it will go up soon if it's not up to 45.

I was downtown yesterday and got a good look at the building. We are still at 42.

Looks to me like it's attached up front, so it'd be only going up to 42.
