From my front window in the north end of the pensinula I can see a crane is now up at the site of the Hazelview. The two towers are going to have quite a presence in the view from here.

Not a high traffic-by-foot area so I don't think so, and renderings seem to suggest the same. I believe the Sobey's plaza near by is slated for a complete reno so that's likely where the restaurants and stores will continue to cluster.

The crane near the top of the centre of the photo here is for the third Grandhaven building. So far just the base in in place on Willett from the drive by this morning.

However, you are right, it will stick out on that view once up. The building with the sun on it is 8-9 floors depending on grade, so these two will have quite a presence.

I watched it all day and have pictures and videos of it going up!- if only I could figure out how to post them here.....

Use imgur.com for pictures. YouTube probably best for videos. We'd love to see it!
