Is an upscale sushi bar not cool enough?

I wonder if there is any chance the billboard lot gets developed any time soon.

And once again we're getting one more coffee shop (or is it just relocating?).

On a separate note, there will be some sort of tour of the building this Friday, December 2nd from 6-9pm for First Friday. I'm planning on swinging by, so I'll be sure to report back on any updates
We look forward to taking you through the building tomorrow!

An update: I attended the event and it was a first rate evening. I could only stay for a drink, but was able to see updated renders of interiors and the exterior - it was new to me to hear the entire underside of the cantilevered portion will be mirrored to reflect the gardens on the open level below (very cool). Hearing how much they want to interact with the neighborhood in a positive way was extremely encouraging. even more excited to see the final product now.

They've been adding insulation over much of the tower portion over the last week or so, so hopefully we'll start seeing the cladding going up everywhere; it looks even better in person than it does in (blart's awesome) pics.

Huge fan of this building. Walking and driving about it, it reminds me a bit of something in Chelsea. Hope we see more and more of this kind of development north and northeast of Old City.

Took pictures of this today... was limited to ground shots because the pedestrian path on the bridge was closed... and was about to post them, when I realized there was basically no visible change from the shots I posted above, on the 16th.
