This tower is very out of the way... so don't expect frequent updates.

With the inclusion of Pinnacle Centre on the construction projects, I believe all the Toronto Towers taller than 500 feet have all been listed in this forum-thread, with the exception of ICE I and ICE II, which although underway are not officially under-construction in the technical sense of the term, although L Tower will shortly have its second crane up and concrete forming of the foundation is now taking place. Look forward to seeing it moved over into this thread with its cohorts shortly.

How is the street life in this area? With all these new towers opening up, are there stores in the ground floor retail, and people walking the streets?

It could be even better with a bit more green space or parks where those parking lots are.

There were lots of people walking the streets in this area long before any of these towers were built.

Well, you've gotta admit, all these towers have made the place just a bit more bearable in the winter, with all the residents running about when there was in the past no one at all to be found down by the harbourfront.

Of course in the summer, with all the festivals and whatnot, that place is crazy busy....

When it's not summer, the streetlife sucks, basically.

There is barely anyone on the streets in the winter. I was downtown last winter and I was basically the only one there. I guess everyone else uses the PATH system.

If that's true, it's ironic.

Trust me in winter there is no one down at the Harbourfront except for the people that live there and people going for ice skating down at the rink. Over the past few years, the number of native residents has made the place more bearable in the winter months, as each condo tower by the lake has been completed.

A bit more of a vibe downthere.

They own the lot next to the Toronto Star building. They will probably throw up some more of these monsters when the economy improves.
