Great shot. It's really tall now, soon to be topped out I guess?
I like the watermark too.

I think it might still have another 30+ meters to go. I'm not sure though.
Yeah, I had to succumb to using a watermark. Hopefully, it's not too obtrusive.

Below are a few shots of the Wheelock Square building on the coner of Yanan Rd & Huashan Rd in Jingan. The first two were taken on the 8th and 9th of July from the 32 second floor of the Jingan Hilton.

They started to remove the crane about one week after I took this next photo on the 19th of July.

It's slender profile sure makes it look tall (i know it is almost a 1,000 footer)

Wasn't sure if giallo was going to post his photo, but I'll go ahead and do it for him.

This is one of those towers that turned out surprisingly nice once it was completely clad. I'm going to wait for some more angles before I lay my final judgement, but it sure looks great here:

Thanks for posting my picture, staff. I totally forgot...hehe. I've got a few more of it from that session. I'l get them up soon.

I'm also pleasantly surprised with the final outcome. Staff and I were pretty unimpressed with it after it had topped out this summer, but with it now fully clad, it looks a lot better.
Now I'm just waiting for them to unwrap the podium. I hope it looks good from street-level.

Here's how it looks from my apartment building's alleyway:

Yeah. It's definitely a nice building to see multiple times on a daily basis.

Looks like there's a building under construction in the foreground of that last pic. Two actually. One that appears to be 20 or so floors above ground and another that appears to be in the foundation phase? Are either of those towers significant enough in their own right to effect the skyline of this area?

No, not really.

The one covered in netting is a hotel that has been gutted and in the process of being reclad. The new design looks A LOT better; curtain walls, big LED screen.

This is what it looked like before (it's the building on the right-hand side of the picture with the airplane billboard underneath it). Sorry, no 'after' rendering on hand.

The other building that is UC was originally going to be something really amazing, but was reduced to a forgettable 140m office tower. Again, no rendering, but trust me that it's nothing special at all.

Here's a shot I took last week out of my hotel room. It appears to have reached the top.

sidenote: I can see my apartment in that picture of yours, thefigman.
