The first week in June my wife and I traveled about 4 1/2 hours north to spend our anniversary weekend in Niagara Falls, Ontario. I've been here a few times, most recently in 2007 and I'm always impressed with the number and height of the towers (hotels, casino, observation) compared to the relatively smallness of the city. It's a fun place to be. Here are a few pictures I took while there.
1.
2. We stayed on the 27th floor of the Embassy Suites. Pretty decent room, and very big. Could have easily fit another 5 or 6 people. Though I recommend parking in the casino lot instead of paying any of the ridiculous hotel parking fees ($20/day vs. $5 total)

4. The second (newer) Hilton tower is the tallest building in the city at 58 stories/ 581 ft.
5. Clifton Hill is the super touristy area of town. This is looking down the hill.
6. Looking up Clifton Hill.
7. Miniature golf course. With dinosaurs, of course.
8.
9. The larger hotels are mostly concentrated in one area (close to the falls).

14. Skylon Tower was the tallest structure in Niagara Falls until Hilton Tower 2 was built. It's 520 ft tall but a lot of the promotional material use 775 feet, as this is the distance from the top of the tower to the bottom of the falls. It's a little misleading sometimes.
15. Some of the larger buildings on the Niagara Falls, NY side. The largest one (on the left) is the Seneca Casino.
16. Getting wet on the Maid of the Mist tour.
17. Bridal Veil Falls on the American side.
