Yeah they seem to be having window supply problems and decided to enclose it with plywood so they can move on with drywalling etc. It is funny/odd looking

Thanks for the update - along with M3, I think this will be Coquitlam's most elegant tower to date. Quality glazing, and thoughtful massing that isn't just a box.

The tower's alright (if a bit short) but the street level is pretty bad- basically just blank walls facing a busy sidewalk. It'll look a tiny bit better with some greenery but it really should've had a couple of CRUs, or at least had the lobby entrance at grade.

nice updates. I wonder what will happen with the old ihop site,could it get combined with the little strip mall of sorts for one development. That would block out any views to the west that the union has going for it though.

yea, but the main entrance is on the north side. They have at least included a staircase that is well lit on the side though. If they put a highrise on the corner where the little strip mall is, there go their views.

What I meant is that it doesn't do anything for encouraging some retail to snake up Austin Rd. a bit.
