Wow this trumps all in sliver buildings. That space looks like it is only about 15 feet across.

There is a similar building going up on 3rd Avenue. These buildings are pretty mind blowing though... I don't think there is another American city where such construction exists.

Yep, but the 3rd Ave project has been stalled for some time, I believe?

Yeah it had a stop work order for about 6 months due to concrete pouring through the wall of the neighboring building. I read on curbed that the stop work order had been lifted however. If it ever stops raining maybe I'll try to check it out.

I've been by twice in the past month (have a friend in the hood) and no changes. Save yourself the trip, I'll be around it again next week.

Curiosity got the best of me and had to check out the sliver on 3rd Avenue. Unfortunately it remains stalled.

I hope they're able to bring this building back to life at some point...

I'm concerned about the effect this building will have on other building's body image,

Thanks for the photos sbarn!

Looks different from this rendering. Not that it really matters though. But I'm not a fan of the asymmetric window layout.

What's with the brickwork though? It looks sloppy, like some of the bricks aren't properly aligned.
