I love this idea. It isn't a new idea, but it is a good one. I can see us having a dozen big cables under the Med within a couple of decades if the first project gets up and running. It might even help stabilize some countries, "might" not "will".

I like the goal of 15% by 2050. Seems a bit high for one company, but if they get a big lead... Hopefully the oil companies will get in on the act too.
