That's exactly right. I had a reliable source who said that they were
courting Tiffany and Gucci. Of course, they probably also
courted the Ritz-Carlton for the hotel. I actually think there's a fair chance they'll get something of Tiffany/Gucci quality. After all, I really do think the city is ready (and certainly will be 2 years from now) and where else would they go? Aura won't have much, if any, retail, right? Downtown Plaza? Well, maybe if they really make a push to gentrify their tenant mix, and pull in a Saks, as has been rumored. Tiffany certainly co-exists in some malls, like in Boston. But given Westfield's track record in downtown I'm not holding my breath. The only other option I can think of is Epic, but who knows if that will ever get built...
