In Vancouver??? Really? Forecast of -5C as a high tommorow.

Montreal's coldest temperature of the season is -6.3C from yesterday morning.
We have also received less snow than Vancouver so far.

Windchill into the mid -30s for the most part of today/tonight. Should warm up to between 0 and -5 for the grey cup...

Imagine they had to play today.... high reaching only -24 in Edmonton.

Calgary, Alberta

It has been snowing here for days and days. I cant believe how fast the city transformed from flowers and green grass to a deep blanket of white powdery snow.

If I hated the cold and the snow, I would be a miserable guy. Today was especially cold and I just wore more layers of clothes.

It went up to 6C today. We had a little bit of freezing rain during the night but it was already rain by 4AM.

Meanwhile, Quebec City has received 7 cm of snow the past few days and schools were closed in areas north of Montreal due to icy roads(Mirabel for example was barely above the freezing mark today).

That list is missing tons of places in northern Asia (ie: Russia, Mongolia, etc). There are places right now in Siberia under -40, which is fairly normal for there.

People were outside in shorts at my lunch break today. Tomorrow it's supposed to be below freezing.

Mother nature is a nasty tease.

Sorels, touque (Oiler one of course), gloves, and a 3/4 was more than enough today here. I actually enjoyed my walk as there was little wind. Yesterday was far colder IMO.

95% of Canada's territory is under snow...
The only places still snow free are Southern Ontario, Southern Quebec, extreme Eastern Quebec, Southern Nova Scotia and central Newfoundland.
