And yes, I do believe that it isnt ingraned in the culture, as horse racing tends to be more of an anglo thing. When the anglos punked out and went down the 401, horse racing slowly died along with it.

I never thought of Chicagoland being anglo but I will run with that for now.
For Chicago the last thing we need is another Horse track.
We got 4 good active ones and probably one too many.

When I went to collage in Des Moines their horse track could not compete and eventfully shut down.
And please no more dog tracks, those are disgusting.
The state has too many horse tracks already.
