Also a tower crane going up for the fugly North and Ashland hotel. It's going to be very visible from the freeway...

But the boom continues, two cranes up on the same day...

56 W Huron looks good. Medium sized buildings like that going up in gaps in blocks > podium buildings

Union West

South West Corner

Gr333n Pictured you can see the parking ramp form work curving south and the western stage of the 1st floor concrete was poured today. I wonder if they will do every floor in two stages like this?

900 W Washington Cladding turned out great on this.

I didn't get a picture but it appears the core of Nobu is topped out. They seemed to have removed the slip form work. Also they are framing out the windows starting on the second floor.

Don't apologize! Those photos are great for a quick update of many projects. Also a great way to show how much things have changed this cycle and how much they still will in the next cycle or two

Crane assembly at Union West today. This was right before they added the counter weights. That mobile crane is a beast.

I like Marlowe. The guy in this photo is the supervisor for the renovation of the retail space on the NE corner of Wells and Huron.

Zoning application up for a new 40 story building near Joe's on Weed, Prysm, iO Theater etc. Would include also a new 7 story building. Total height would be 465 feet with 500 total residential units. Mixed use..
326 parking spaces. Looks like its next to Shops On Fremont and it's called Fremont Square. If my calculations are correct, it might involve demolishing buildings like the one for VIP Gentlemans Club.

I'll have more info later.
