Ah, the good old NWI tower in a few of the pics. Where I retired from 4 years ago. Always enjoy seeing Columbus.

Is it true that Columbus is Ohio's biggest city?

btw
were those pictures taking during the 80's or was it just me? It looked like everything was outdated even the cars in the pics seemed to be old looking for the most part.

Columbus is the largest when taking into account population inside the city limits. Since we all know that metro population tells the true tale, Columbus ranks third behind Cleveland and Cincinnati.

Columbus's Consolidated Statistical Area has almost 2 million people so it is a fairly large metro area.
Columbus's metro area is the fastest growing in the state followed by Cincinnati.

Cincinnati's CSA is a little over 2.1 million.
Cleveland's CSA, which includes Akron is 2.9 million.

sweet. i like the cobble streets. some of the brick apartments on the little rise off from the street remind me of Birmingham.

sweet, some nice pictures of a few of the urban neighborhoods, mostly the houses and not shopping or dinning districts.

Do you know what year you took these, or the photographer?

I live in Columbus and i recognized a few buildings and structures which look different in these pictures *(different stores occupying store fronts, or infill around them)

I would guess that these are atleast from before 2003.

These are a mixed bag of pics taken during several visits. there are a few from 2003, and 2004, but the bulk of these were taken during 2005.
