Love all the new diagrams including the one of Hullmark centre... But sorry to break it to you but recently the TV at the base of the tower was scrapped from the design...

Here's the newly designed hullmark centre...

For me the bad news is that the curved tv has been removed from the plan now... I'm saddened by this cause now it looks a little dull and not as lively as the tv...

The building still looks fantastic though... just the plaza is a little less exciting

***There's no need to change your awesome diagram though... It's still 99.9% accurate

Keep up the hard work Koops!... you're the largest contributor for Toronto

Respect

For me Hullmark Centre would be much better if the diagram would be just one for I & II, more representative the project. I will not say the reasons, because there is no sense of discussion, but is my feeling as the project is whole one the same in same time attached with a good podium. IMO ONLY. But please Koops don't do it cause surely not get approved.

yeah, multiple tower complexes is something that has never been properly dealt with in the diagrams.

That sucks about the Hullmark change, I'll re-do the TV screen, it's not that big a deal.

Multiple towers on a single podium needs to be addressed. In Toronto the towers get separated. Certainly not the case in Hong Kong. A standard needs to be set.

The difficulty comes from how to properly model multiple tower complexes in the database. It can be done, but working a revised design into the current database structure and website functionality would take a lot of work. In the mean time we just wander without any set standard. Or, handle them case by case.

Hey Koops!.. I just noticed your 2 new drawings of Hullmark 1 + 2!

Very nicely done!!!

And i noticed how tall Hullmark 2 even is!... even though it's short compared to Hullmark 1, it still is among the tallest in North York!

Fantastic job, keep up the hard/good work

Thanks steveve, I appreciate the compliments. Feedback like yours is a big part of why I like making diagrams. Yes, Hullmark II is fairly tall, over 400 feet. Even without Hullmark I it would stand out. Hope these ones start construction soon!

Actually over on UT someone asked a person at Metro and they said they would be closing in January.. That can only mean Hullmark will be starting very soon (well first they have to demolish the plaza THEN we can get things going)

I can't wait either... This will be North York's tallest!

Koops, nice Eaton Centre drawing! If you would like to do the other towers, here they are - http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?...uildingIDorder

You drew the tallest drawing in the past week! - http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?searchID=101

I'm working on the next 2 tallest now, and the taller of the Absoulte World Twins, but that one will take a long time, each floor is different!

Koops, about those recently buildings http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?...uildingIDorder i counted less floors drawn that actually must be, sometimes lacks 5 like the one of 69, only 62 drawn . Others 3 floors. Is the drawings accurate this way then, when have less floors?

It is fine to not draw the right number of floors.

Consider this 31 floor building of 130 meters. Each drawing below is drawn to the correct height, but the drawing on the right has the correct number of floors and looks blurry, while the drawing on the left has four less floors and looks nice and sharp.

It is up the the illustrator how he would like to do this with his drawings.

I really don't know how many floors these buildings are supposed to have had. The renderings actually show 75 or possibly even more floors, but the data says 69. I revised and re-submitted the tallest one to show 69 floors assuming the tall floors at the bottom and top and the ones 1/4 and 3/4 of the way up are actually 2 floors high, plus 1 floor for mech at the very top. The next tallest are supposd to be 57 floors, but the renders show 65 floors. I revised and re-submitted those 2 to show 57 floors assuming the tall floors at the top and bottom and the one 1/3 of the way up are actually 2 floors high, plus 1 floor for the mech at the very top. The Dundas St. Tower render shows 35 floors, but mine shows 32 floors, assuming the tall bottom floor is actually 2 floors high, plus 1 floor for the mech at the very top. The Hotel Tower render shows 22 floors, mine shows 21 floors, assuming the tall bottom floor is actually 2 floors high, plus 1 floor for the mech at the very top. Having said all that, it's difficult to be accurate about buildings that were never built.

Thanks
It's nice to look at the Edmonton diagram now and see that the tallest building in the city actually appears to be the tallest. All that time after Epcor's height was revised upwards it looked silly being in the #1 spot while other towers appeared taller.

Nice Eaton centre drawings this week Koops!

even though they were cancelled, it's really awesome to visualize what we could have had!

Mind blowing...

Thanks steveve
I always wanted to draw them, and I finally got around to it. I think if they had been built the CBD would have ended up alot different than it became.

OK, I finally finished my 4:1 drawing of the Ritz-Carlton in Toronto, 209.6 M, 52 floors. It only took me 47 days!

I was unable to find a render of the south side of the sloping roof anywhere, so I just made it up. Once it's built I'll probably have to modify the drawing.

Same thing with the twin MLS towers, I'm waiting fo the cladding to go onto the top and I'll then be able to modify my drawings of them.

I also modified my 1:1 drawing of Four Seasons to reflect the change in height to 204 M, and will be starting a 4:1 drawing of it soon.
But first I plan to make a 4:1 drawing of L Tower.
