I sort of miss the simple 3000 unlimted days

I've been playing SC3K ever since. It was my first PC game believe it or not. I had a go with the eariler versions and also with SC4, but I stuck with SC3K all the time. There's something about the game I can't get away from.

Also, I'm gonna give away my secret construction techniques used in Armadasanti for everyones benefit.

Zone Layout:

Using incinerators to provide ideal land value for desired growth:

Using temporary road infrastructure to aid commercial development:

That's where my 6 years in a SC3K A-Level course comes in handy
What I mean to say is, practice makes perfect.

I even have a whole sketchbook of my ideas, techniques, theories, and calculations down. I know, I am sad.

But anyway, the city will be available for download at www.simcitypages.com soon.

Then again, I'm working on reaching 5.4 million as well.

Yes, a new city that is. It's at 114,000 sims and is named Paramatrix

Edit: I just did an exact recalculation considering nearly every variable, it will be around 5,530,000-5,565,644 sims. Then again, that is subject to change at any time.

This totally blows me away. Fantastic. I thought I was the SC master, but I must hand you the crown.

i am near the end of building a city that is completely self-reliant. There are no citys near it.

It is currently hovering over 800,000.

Base SC4 w/rush hour and official patch... that's it.

I believe I can get it up to 900,000, perhaps 1 million with a bit of work.

All power, water, waste, pollution.. all in this city.

I've made a revolutionary breakthrough in grid designing, I can now build to a population of 6 million sims on SC3K...I think

Edit: Okay, perhaps not 6M, but somewhere like 5.7-5.8M

Updates: My latest SC3k city project so far, "Complexis" (Paramatrix is being built simultaneously too)
Estimated poulation when completed: 5.8 million sims
When completed in August 2007, it will be the largest non-cheat city ever created in SimCity 3000

Update: Using the plop-building cheat I created a simulated model predicting what the population will be when the real city is finished. Note that this is only a test model and not the real thing:

As you can see, the population just breaks the 5.9 mil barrier, I was actually a bit disappointed that it didn't reach 6 million, but then again, we can't have it all
