Drove by today, looks like the framing for all the parking floors is done and we should start seeing the tower portion rise any time now.

Yeah, it's been like that for the past couple of weeks. It seems like they've paused the vertical for the moment and are concentrating on the podium interior.

Glad this is coming together. What is the status of sales? Does anyone know. Maybe some people are selling their contract to buy? I would love to know more about the finish quality on the suites.

It's been so long that those Miele SS appliances are NLA. You'll just have to accept Kenmore appliances, in avocado green.

down to one crane

I noticed today that they have removed the second crane. Is that SOP, or does it indicate a problem?

Could be they are mostly done heavy lifting with the podium portion and only need one crane for the tower. I noticed the building is now slightly visible from the Midtown bridge the other day. Not quite over the tree tops. But you can see it.

I belive the removal of 1 of the cranes as mentioned already was always in the plan. The build, podium was long and narrow to begin with. Now we just move upward on the residential units with one.

This is going to be so awesome. We really have not seen any of the tall skinny condo towers on small lots in Winnipeg that are so prevalent in other cities. Seems here people will only build big buildings or with big podiums and lots of land. It's going to look great and hopefully shows other developers what is possible on small pieces of land.

Yes. This is a great example of what can be built throughout downtown.

^ oh man, it's such a relief to actually see the units going in above the parkade, it feels like so long since the discussion around this not moving forward was a common topic...

Is that crane tall enough for 24 stories or has this come down in scale?

The crane will grow with the tower.
