Amatuer shooting video in Atlanta - Need Permits?

Good morning/afternoon!

I have been here for a while but I don't respond too much. I mostly just read a lot of everyone's comments, but now I have a question.

I am looking to shoot some video around Atlanta and wanted to know if I needed a permit. It will not be very invasive, just one actor and one videographer, no lights. I wouldn't really question it except for people mentioning that they have run into trouble taking pictures in Atlantic Station - which I won't be near.

I have shot video in Atlanta before during the No on Prop 8 protest - which I can link to if you would like to see it, I am pretty proud of it, without a permit and didn't get into any trouble.

Any advice?
