Lions were always kind of middle of the pack attendance wise... although they have demonstrated an ability to draw large crowds for big games. I can't imagine that many people would be so peeved about the inability to sit in the upper deck that it would start to materially affect Lions' attendance numbers.

In previous years, when they opened up a portion of the upper deck, the crowd was always in the middle of the field, between the 20s (Sec 438 - 445). There would be crowds in those sections, while the end zones in the lower bowl (Sec 225 - 230) still had plenty of seats. And even when the crowd is only in the 20k - 25k range, most of the seats between the 20s (lower bowl) are full. So, when the crowd gets up in the 30k+ range, there is a preference to sit in the upper deck between the 20s rather than in the lower bowl endzone, even though the latter tickets are substantial cheaper.

There are clearly a number of fans who consider the end zone seats inferior (I'm not one of them); and have stated (through their absence) that if they can't get seats between the 20s, they won't come.

Trying to watch Bombers Lions right now but 2015 CFL is unwatchable there is no flow to the game at all when LITERALLY 2 out of every 3 plays has a flag flown on it delaying the game. Growing up as a kid of the 90's CFL football was a beautiful art form of skill creativity and speed with great game flow and legends like Pringle, Flutie, Dunigan and Pitts. Today's game is a virtual chore to watch with far too many coaching reviews, silly pass interference calls, constant offside and time count violations the game is unwatchable it is supposed to entertain people not drive them away from the game just so "we get the right call".

This article just proves how over officiated the CFL has become to the NFL now:

Offside calls and time count violations have nothing to do with officials throwing more flags.

Thats on the players. P

I don't know what you are talking about regarding this particular game. This game had good flow, lot's of big plays and was entertaining to watch (although without a thrilling ending).

Hey-o! Bombers play pretty much a complete game from start to finish, give or take the opening 8 1/2 minute Lions drive.

Nice to see Adams and Veltung step up, and Willy was most impressive... did not expect him to scoot for 70+ yards after what happened to him last week. O-line held together better than I expected given the injuries, especially against BC's formidable pass rush which is admittedly sputtering this season. Too bad for Hajrullahu, he finally gets over the convert jinx only to call a boneheaded fake punt on 3rd and 21.

That was not a glamourous win, but it was solid and as a Bomber fan I'll happily take it.

TigerTown! 95% of tickets for all four August home games at Tim Hortons Field have been sold.

That would be the absolute LAST word I would use to describe the Lions' pass rush this season.

^ Well, before this year it certainly was formidable. What changed this season?

Despite now being 0-6, for the first time since '79, the Riders played very well against the Eskimos. Hopefully next time.

A lot of turnover on the D-line. The use of more "nationals" necessitated by injuries on the O-line, where more "internationals" had to be deployed.

Wow what a comeback win by BC over Edmonton! With the Eskimos defence I thought we were gonna lose 26-3!

^ What a logjam the standings are now... 3 way tie for first in the east, 1 win separates 1st and 4th place in the west. Everybody is in the running... well, maybe except for one team
