"Located directly across from the Perkins Centre, this new affordable housing development will create 46 new apartments. The units are primarily one-bedroom units, with some two-bedroom. The apartments were designed for flexible use of the space, ample daylight, workable kitchens and good views of both the escarpment or Hamilton Harbour.

Oh, I like this a lot. It would be a great and fitting infill project for an otherwise neglected, somewhat-suburban stretch of Main street.

I was driving by today and the demolition of the buildings on that site was almost completed. I'm very glad to see this project coming to fruition.

Pretty good scale for that area. It'll look nice with the refurbished Perkins building across the street (and roughly the same size).

The new render is nice... warmer.

This scale of infill would work well on many lower city arterials outside of the downtown core. There are streets on the mountain that could use it too.

I love the scale of this building. There are so many small lots that buildings like this could squeeze into. The city could definitely use some new affordable rental apartments.

I'd love to see something like this at the corner of Main and Ottawa in the vacant lot (which also just went up for sale), except maybe a few floors taller. These little east end infill projects get me even more excited than the downtown stuff sometimes.
