At least they opened.
The boarding's been up for the potential Metrotown mall location one for almost 3 years now - with no signs of when, or if at all they'll be open any time in the near future.
But you're correct about the exterior of this one.
It could have used a much bigger facelift from the old Champions' shoe store facade that they're replacing.
Considering how much work Jollibee's not that far from them put in their own exterior facade finish, you'd have expected or hoped for a bit more effort.
Also especially considering the Rec room opening up soon next door as well and also seemingly putting in a lot of TLC into their exterior.
That part of Granville has always been rough-looking especially with all the homeless that love to camp in that area, and just right outside the Mickey D's next door.
You'd have hoped the city would have pushed for a more refined exterior finish, especially if they still have plans of mounting a display AD screen over that corner.
