That corner on the foreground mid rise in post #3551, right below the shop-right marque has a little coffee shop by the name of Jefferson's Coffee.

Recommend it. I walked in a year ago in there while it was being renovated. Owned by two hipsters with poorly washed hair (couple) and they make quite a brew. Authentic Hoboken Coffee. Its not that fake liquid sludge called Pike Place Roast, its actually good, human worthy coffee. Price was good.

The same can't be said for the Hoboken mixed drinks, which compromise of 99.97% water, and 00.03 % alcohol. Terribly weak, over priced.

Anyway's look at that monolithic skyline in the background. Thomas Jefferson would be proud.

On Saturday the 20, I took some pictures of the New York skyline from New Jersey, using a not-so-good IPhone camera. From some of these angles, Verre and/or CPT are visible, but in all, 30 Hudson Yards is beginning to dominate the Midtown skyline. It will look great full-size and with the triangle lit up at night once finished.

Images are linked and not embedded because of their sizes; in preview post, they were way too big to view on a computer.

I wasn't quite sure about these buildings at first, but not that they're largely completed, I think they look fantastic. It's like the 21st century Rockefeller Center. I can't wait to see them the next time I go to NYC.

Agreed. Now that it's getting it's skyline defining top, I'm falling in love with 30 Hudson. It will be another iconic tower, as already shown in the photos.

We should enjoy it as it is now, because the three hulking towers just to the north are in the early stages of construction (foundation, excavation). Currently, the full profile of 30 Hudson can be viewed for the most part from every angle. But when those other towers top out, it will be in the middle of an intensely dense skyline of large towers, even with all of the open space over there.
