Bulliver those shots of Teslin Lake look a lot like Atlin Lake. I do need to get back up there.

And Klazu those shots ow Whistler are getting me a bit hyper. I am there in about a month along the sea to sky highway by bike. Love the drive to Lillioet but this trip I am looking for another route back to YEG. I have 3 days to get back and since I have done all of the major route I need an alternate.

There are some forest service roads which you can do with proper type of motor cycle. I drove the remote Pemberton - Seton Portage - Lillooet few weeks ago. Photos to come in the future.

Those roads can be pretty rugged but offer off-the-beaten-path experiences.

I will be on a pedal bike but have a 4 wheeler for adventure driving. I might do a trip up to PG and then back along the Yellowhead. Its been about 15 years since I last drove that way.

Sandra Lee does such beautiful landscape photography in between the engagement, wedding, and pregnancy photos. I love her stuff.

All pics via FB - and her full portfolio is on sandralee.ca.

Here is plenty of more beautiful Whistler on a warm day in August. It was close to +30 even on the summit when we hiked the amazing High Note Trail around Whistler Mountain. Enjoy!

Chair lift to the top of Whistler.

Whistler summit

Village down below.

Blackcomb on the opposite side.

Beginning of the trail.

Creekside Village

Marmots give Whistler its name.

Black Tusk is a local landmark. We need to hike up there one day.

Note the tiny people on the ridge left of Black Tusk.

Alpine meadows are beautiful during summer.

Cheakamus Creek

Tiny alpine lake.

Beautiful Cheakamus Lake. I love that reflection.

Ski runs during summer.

Rugged landscape

There are lots of cold creeks running down from the melting snow.

Absolutely beautiful

^ Nice... I am amazed by how much ground you've covered out on the West Coast.

Outdoors and mountains were a big reason for us to move to Vancouver specifically. Gotta enjoy them now that we are here! So much interesting remains to be still discovered, especially on the Washington State side...

Love your high Alpine. Especially the flowers.

Great shots as well Uzi. Was in Jasper when the Aurora alert went off but we had cloud cover at the time. Be back up on the 3rd so hopefully I can get some alpine night shots.

In Jasper I stop quite often and shoot the wild flowers. Get a good chuckle when people stop to see what I am shooting and are disappointed when they see the camera is pointed at flowers. Wife said at one stop I had 6 cars pull up to see what Animal I had found only to drive away when she told them it was the meadow I was looking at. That was one of the reasons I avoided stopping on the Ice Filed Parkway this weekend.

Gorgeous, Uzi. I wouldn't even know where to start to get that sort of shot. Beautiful, too.

Airboy I was in the National parks two weeks ago and I stopped several times in the bow valley parkway to shoot the meadows and people were giving me weird looks. all these Chinese tourist came to me and asked me "where is the Animal" and I had to tell them the same thing, so u r not alone

SignalHillHiker go somewhere very dark for milkyway and look south u will see the core.
and same for Northern lights. make sure u go in groups because it is safer.
