THE HAGUE | New Babylon | 142 - 102M / 466 - 335FT

The 'New Babylon' development consists of two mixed used skyscrapers (office, hotel, residential) that will be built over an already existing building (the black and white building that can be seen in the renders). The taller tower will have 45 floors with a total height of 142M / 466FT. The smaller tower that is being built first will have 32 floors and will be 102M / 335 tall.

The tower that can be seen in those photos is the smaller one. The 142M tower should begin to rise within the next few months.

I like, though the cladding is a bit too retro.

EDIT: my lame height joke no longer applies.

I actually dig the cladding on this one.

By the looks of it, this thing is about 0.001% complete.

Looking at the photos for the two developments going on right now, The Hague is way up on my list of places to visit if I ever get the chance. Just a total mess of different styles. I love the look of this. The renderings were ugh, but the reality is really striking.
