To me they look very cheesy.. Aren't there already multiple "clock towers" on Bank as it is?

Plus, it kinda reminds me of this ugly building:

Not sure I would go as far as comparing it to the poster child of the "Ugly Canada" thread.

It's probably stucco or cement fibreboard. What's the matter with either? A change in material is better than...where have you seen white brick that does not look painted?

Also I don't think the clock is an issue.

I like the revised design. Nothing earth-shattering, but a nice fit on Bank.

Interestingly, it appears that apartment units #2 and #8 are being designed as wheelchair accessible, but not the others.

I'm seriously liking that - and need an accessible domicile too.

Condo Units?

Hi, wondering if anyone knows if the residential units in this building will be condominium or rental? Also, who will be selling these? I've seen listings online for the commercial space being leased by Canderel (for summer 2018 availability), but nothing on the residential... Looks like a great location. Only gotcha is the new 4 story apartment building being built on the south side (on Monk St). Would impact the view from 3rd/4th stories of this one.

Wonder if the landlord(s) of the adjacent building are still charging money for the signage on the side of the building...the one you almost can't see anymore...lol!

Taken October 5. Exterior brick work is going up along all sides of the building. Looks like a Score Pizza will be moving in to one of the commercial units.

Score Pizza is moving in to the ground floor. Hope they do better than the Boston Pizza up the road due to proximity to Lansdowne.

Has anyone been to their location on Rideau?

2150$ + Hydro for a one bedroom...

A lot of people here hate Claridge, but there's a reason they're so successful : they understand that most people would rather live in a bland building than paying such insane rent.

That's quite expensive for a one bedroom...
