Rotterdam, Netherlands (32x)

Most pictures are from a waterbus trip and the Waal harbor area, world's largest digged harbor basin. Still a busy port area near the city center. All photos taken Jun/Jul/Sep/Dec 2017, Jan/Feb 2018.

1. Euromast observation tower from 1960 and extended in 1970.

Fantastic; great compositions as always. Love the one with the Erasmus Bridge in the mist.

A unique thread with port scenes, I can’t recall seeing many threads that focus on ships primarily.

It looks like an industrial town. I like it.

The suburbs are second-rate. Cookie-cutter houses, treeless yards, mediocre schools, and more crime than you think. Do your family a favor and move closer to the city.

Nice pictures! Rotterdam seems like a nice place, and the maritime history is interesting.
