It definitely needs to be incorporated into whatever structure goes up.

Looks like we won't be getting a Hayden II after all but instead a 73 unit condo building

Wut street fronted with townhomes and not a concrete wall accented by frosted glass or hard to lease retail space?

Yes please.

Yeah I agree. Ground level townhomes are way better than a dead parking level

I'm very happy that 19 N May is no longer going to be a twin of that abomination

The Mill:

West Loop(not sure what buildings):

Gr333n:

I still think that people are not grasping how much these 300 foot tall towers are going to change the West Loop, River West, and South Loop.

Great pics BonoboZ. I enjoy watching the progress from your vantage point. Referring to your 300 ft comment, I was just thinking about the same thing the other day. As the parking lots dwindle and the available land becomes more scarce, I'd imagine they'll build even taller in the next cycle.

That's what I'm thinking too. These neighborhoods have kept changing with each cycle in terms of what is deemed as "acceptable" in terms of height. The West Loop used to despise anything over 6 floors. now people are flirting with 30-40 floor proposals throughout its boundaries.

As for my vantage point, I have a good news update for my fellow skyscraper nerds. I reached a nice little agreement with the boss and let's just say the views will continue

Bonobo isn't going anywhere after all!
