identifying a highrise

I am trying to identify this building for a filming location research:

It's a stock shot from a film library used in a 1989 episode of "Falcon Crest". It was sold to the audience as "a hotel in Chicago". I know the location does not really have to be in Chicago because filmmakers often use footage from anywhere that might be convenient. I am not too familiar with Chicago, but it doesn't seem to be there unless I've overlooked it.
It doesn't look like Los Angeles either, which would be a natural choice for stock shots since "Falcon Crest" -- at that time -- was entirely filmed in Greater L.A.

Also, please note that since this shot was licensed for the production from a film library, the actual footage might be older than 1989.

I thought I'd give it a try here with you as skyscraper experts. Maybe somebody knows where to find it.
Thanks a lot for taking a look!
