Just to be clear, there isn’t anything happening right now. The new president would like for the downtown campus to grow, but in reality the number of students attending class there has declined to almost half. It’s pretty surprising to me that there wasn’t more of an effort to grow this campus. It’s definitely underutilized. Let’s see what the response is when they actually put out an RFP.
There’s a lot of work to do to get the community support to get behind this vision. Part of that would be easy travel between campuses, and we all know how the city has been paralyzed in addressing mass transit
