Work at the Site

They are not wasting any time at getting the re-bar, forms, and footings out of there. Had to be almost a dozen guys working the site when I took this.

Just rename this thread. No need for a new one.

For real? Let me know what your decision is and I will update it.
I listened to the mayor speak last Friday on 94.9 The River and he said as of now the floor count is 15, but approved for higher.

There is a current pic by Bodo_business a few posts up, and Sawtooth has a current pic in his Boise spring thread. There really isn't a lot to see right now because the workers are cleaning the hole out.
This website should answer your other questions.

Okay mates, I've been following this thread for a long time and just joined. I go to school at Boise State and go look at the progress three days a week between classes. So I will keep posting photos for you as I can. I take them from the Parking Garage on the west side.

Here is one from Wed. of last week, I will get a better photo tomorrow, they've really cleaned it out since this was taken.

Thanks BoiseBMW - I'm finishing school up in Moscow, so I never get a chance to see the progress in person. It looks like they're really getting after it. That makes me happy

Why would you make such a horrible life choice?

I'll try and post a photo of the progress when I can, I just don't wanna get overbearing on the update photos.

And the 8thandmain website says 16. I guess we will never know until the crane comes down!

I know. With all of the hoopla, one would think that this would become the new tallest.
Welcome BoiseBMW. Don't worry about being overbearing on the photo updates because between you and the other forumers here who regularly contribute photos we will be treated to a lot of different perspectives as this tower is built. There are never too many photos in my opinion.

hm...maybe they haven't told anyone the official height yet because it's actually going to be 120 floors, and they do not want the city to know that until it's completed.

Hilarious...

What is it going to be...10...12...really how many stories?

I do not understand why Zions has not delivered a floor count.

Hey maybe it will be 5 stories and a drive through.

It could have the wow factor of 12 stories...really. For your mental health I hope it is 20 stories. I mean for 5 months everyone was talking about it and what have they done?

This does have an element of humor if you follow the thread.

After all of that, I do admire the Boise photographs. Very nice and it does look like a very nice city.

Classic SLC Rick. No one thinks you are cool and moreso when you follow up sugar coated insults with a compliment at the end of your post

You know NYC Rick why dont you go shove a D***o up your a** and leave our little part of the forum alone. I or anyone else can care less what you think about Boise or any other god forsaken place that you have been to or wanna go to. Ive watched this place grow from the very start, and seeing your douche comments over the last year or two has really starting to piss me off and im sure many others. Now dont think this post is there to rile you up, but to say GTFO!!!! Who here else agrees with my post.. I swear if i had the power id ban you for so many things its not funny. But since i cant ill tell you again GTFO!!!!! No one likes you or cares for you or your comments, other people that are respectful will do that so have a nice day!
