Please Join us for the first issue of The Yards Magazine for 2015! A hyper-local quarterly magazine focussed on urban, cultural and social issues in central Edmonton.
Please help up celebrate the second issue with a night of music and thought provoking discussion on the past, present and future of Edmonton's core. Proceeds from the tickets help to pay for start-up costs and fund future issues.
6pm - Doors Open
7pm - A live recording of The Yards Podcast with editor Omar Mouallen and restauranteurs Chris Sills of Tres Carnales/Rostizado and Christian Mena of Sabour Divino. They discuss how dining culture helped reinvigorate the core and have a blast reviewing their Yelp reviewers!
7:45- Onwards - Stick around for an evening of conversation and cocktails. Music by NVS to keep the night going.
Published by the non-profit Central Edmonton News Society in partnership with the Downtown Edmonton and Oliver Community Leagues, The Yards is the voice of these two communities. It's mailed to all Downtown and Oliver residents four times a year.
