Indianapolis World Trade Center

I seen on the local news today in Indianapolis will be getting a Indianapolis world trade center. They did not say how tall it will be.

Kudos to Indy, but I think at this point its just the designation that is newsworthy. Sometime in the future a building, probably downtown and probably a highrise, could be built for the organization or built around the organization as a hub tenant. From one of many articles this info:

Quote:
Sadler also said the organization is in the "very, very early stages" of market research for a headquarters building, potentially a high-rise in downtown Indianapolis. "We'd like it to be in downtown Indianapolis, but we’re open to other ideas," said Sadler. "We're thinking in terms of a mixed-use development where companies that have connections to trade will want to come and use as a hub."

For me it can be reduced to this: For every personal freedom we gained from the automobile, we lost in social cohesion.

Let us hope it will add livelihood to the streetscape. Cant wait to see renderings.

No renderings. Not a real proposal yet.

I keep hearing about it and it seemed like it had a lot of backing. I'm surprised nothing tangible has come out of it yet. I wonder how close they are to a plan and renderings.
