Cities with great boulevards

I think it is barcelona first and paris second. Paris is wonderful but the best that barcelona has for me are the avenues, the great boulevards, like la gran via, diagonal , rambla de les flors and rambla catalunya, and also the passeig de gràcia or even el carrer gran de gràcia Of course there is also the old area for tourists and el born and all the area close el parc de la ciutadella which is wonderful indeed. What do you think about it?

I don't know, but I'm gonna start another thread with the title "Which city has the best pedestrian streets of Europe?" and then answer my own question with "Copenhagen".

I quite like Barcelona, but I don't think anything tops Paris for Boulevards. Les Champs d'Elysees is the greatest of European boulevards in my opinion.

Les champs elysees are amazng , but If you have been to la gran via in barcelona or to any of the classic areas your opinion it´s quite arguable.

This sounds more like a SSC thread to me.

There is no such thing as "best" as all that is subjective.
And staff is right, why open a thread and then answer your own "question"?

Well, you are not entitled to make "city versus city" or "which city is/has the best" threads on this forum...

Who is making that sort of ridiculous thread ?. Nor me !!!. I have seen plenty of posts like which city has the best in this forum so if you want to ban me go ahead, i will not tolerate any injustice upon me . That´s all.

Yes of course there is not such thing as best, it is subjective that´s why I made a subjective point which means that I do really belive that barcelona has the greatest avenues of europe. Why is it so bad to be subjective about my opinions am I possibly deniying you to have your own opinions?. I didn´t mean to do a city Vs city thread.

Chill out man.
Who is talking about banning or anything?

Next time just make it a "show us the best boulevards of Europe" thread. That's all...

Let us all be honest the clear choice is...

Tirana

I think my first gut feeling would be Paris, with Buda and Pest a surprising top 5!

The IHT had a good articles on Paris the last two weekend editions BTW.

Ciao, and Hook 'em Horns,

Of course he has! And every home in Barcelona has a picture of Franco in it! Besides, BCN is practically Serbian, like 90% of its population is made up of Serb immigrants.
