I know nothing about that field but I hope somebody is able to give you some good advice.

Wouldn't Public Works (or whatever it's called today) be a good place to look? They handle the feds' buildings, properties, real estate portfolio, etc. Or so I think.

Does anyone know how homeowners associations are regulated/governed? (i.e. when the homes are freehold but there is an association that owns the road or the exterior fencing).

I live in a neighbourhood like that. We have a common elements condo association, which seems too be just like any other condo association, but with a significantly more limited scope. In our case, it's just the road and road maintenance: snow plowing, sweeping, lighting, etc. We pay condo fees to cover this and have meeting and elections.

We were having a debate on when we would be hitting the 1 million mark. We'll get a rough date in the coming months according to Watson.

Subprovincial estimates for July 2018 are out in a few weeks which provides estimates for Ottawa's CMA and Economic Region. So, we could probably extrapolate Ottawa's city population from that.

To continue on the Imgur/Flickr/Instagram conversation going on the Amazon Project Python thread, I am considering opening an account on ne of those three platforms in order to post my own pictures on SSP. The free Imgur site no longer fits my needs due to, what seems to be the loss of some functions.

Which of the three sites would some of you recommend? Functionality and security?

I wanted to leave a thought for Alex Trebek. We've lost one of the World's greatest. A genuinely good person. A humanitarian. A person we should all strive to emulate in some form.

Hear, hear. Do we have any streets that need naming or re-naming?

How about the Hospital Link Rd?

I hear Gladstone is no longer politically correct.

Trump Avenue in Central Park could use a new name.

Okay I didn’t know.
I wonder how OC Transpo announces Corso Italia in French then.

It actually rolls off the tongue more easily in French than in English.

And certainly it's easier to say in French than Gladstone.

In any event, no one in Ottawa says Gladstone properly.

Everyone says glad-stow(e)n, but it should be glad-stuhn.

So nobody is allowed to change their view on issues? Your thinking early in life marks you for ever? Is there a massive movement to re-evaluate Mr Gladstone's life?

So when does the movement to re-evaluate the likes of Washington and Jefferson. You know, men that actually owned slaves?

Gladstone was no Washington nor Jefferson; but nevertheless, that movement is very much active.

The idea of changing the names of things is hardly new - and we can draw the line wherever we want as a society at any time as we like, and do, regularly.
