That last photo of the rooftop from @SkyscraperSunset is one of Matthew Johnson's. Better known as MJPhilly on this site.

Not the same one, but another one of my sources said (direct quote): "Don't know anything about a cooling tower. But Cornell is suppose to be setting steel for the spire this week if everything goes well. 180 more feet to go"

My source says that construction on the cooling towers was scheduled to resume sometime last week but they didn't quite get to that point. Regardless, this should start going up again shortly.

If this is true this is interesting!
The building is about 950' currently; so the rest of the Cooling Tower and the Lantern would put the building at 1130' and I'm guessing they have 180' to go. I'm not sure but that may be what is meant.

But hmmm; if the Lantern is 180' by itself that would be greatttt! I'd love that! The Cooling Tower would top out around 995' or something like that and 180' on top of that literally would be the building's height around....I'm guessing; 1175'!!!

Here's to hope!

I think that "180 to go" includes the second section of cooling tower that isn't yet installed, it's not the stand alone height of the lantern.

No. The building was sitting at 941 feet tall. 180 feet to go includes the rest of the cooling towers and the lantern which is 125 feet tall.

Hell yeah! Finally!!

What does this take us to now in height? 961 feet tall? We've definitely surpassed One Liberty Place now in height which would officially make this the second tallest building in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania

Not yet. I still don't think it's taller than Comcast Center. It's sitting around 961 feet right now I think.
