As the building peels...

Looks good so far.

It's very noticeable from the 401. Looking good so far.

I am liking how these are turning out. They are looking good and very noticeable in their location. Thinking about it, I would have liked to have seen them closer to the downtown core as the colour and style would be a welcome change to the "norm" of condos down there.

They are much better than the wretched rendering. And I agree, these and Hullmark look good from the 401, especially approaching from west of Yonge, where there's a nice tapering-down effect from right to left. One of us suburbanites should get a picture from that vantage.

I know that view you mention well. Yes it is a great angle. Unfortunately I'm always in the commute home when I see it and can't get a picture whilst driving.

That's true, I'm always driving as well, which is not a good time to snap a pic, not least because it's illegal.

The crane is coming down on the taller tower today. Another one close to completion.
Driving by on the 401 these two do look good, especially with the Hullmark towers nearby.

Yes, they are unexpectedly terrific, in my estimation. The renders were appalling.

The renders weren't terrible, but to me they always made the buildings look off. It was a combination of perspective distortion and the fact that the proportions were off. In person the effect is much more subtle (in a good way) so that it doesn't look like it's falling over. Much more elegant.

I'd say this one is just about complete now.

Taken today:
