Never seen this side of Harlem before! Nice pictures!

You played around with the lighting, it looks like?

For those who don't know NY, the old yellow house belonged to Alexander Hamilton, and the white home, the Morris Jumel mansion, is the oldest surviving residence in Manhattan dating from around the 1760s. (Other boroughs of NYC, however, have houses dating from the 1600s.)

sad is putting it lightly. our built environment is going to become increasingly sterile, disposable, and joyless.

Holy smokes hero, I thought you'd left us. Beautiful residences. I remember seeing the rows in the first few pics before (possibly in a ColDay thread?), and they're still special. Thanks for enlightening us once again.

I'd love to see a comparison between Harlem now and thirty years ago.

^One of the greatest neighborhoods this side of heaven

There were a lot of surprising homes I've never seen before in this thread! Thank you Herodotus! Ain't nothing like some good ol' urbanity to ride out the day on.....
