Let's hope they can get across the border... IIRC Scott Weiland has had some issues with that in the past, and as a result STP hasn't played much (if at all?) north of the border...

It is the first year of this event. Personally I think the line up isn't that bad.

The press release says "Stay tuned as more stellar A-list stars and local up-and-coming acts will be added to the lineup as the spring starts to bloom"
So yes, and hopefully they are more International bands, not the likes of Raine Maida or The Guess Who. Personally I would love to see Rage play V-Fest Calgary.

Get Ruslana to the show, and I might turn up. Failing that, some effort to resuscitate Andres Segovia might be nice....

Rage? As in Unity and Speak of the Dead? I'd pay $125 just for them, doubt they'd come though.

I doubt Rage Against the Machine would come here either. Audioslave did though, so who knows.

Saw Audioslave a couple years ago. At the time, I thought that's as close as I'd ever come.

I would love to see the Arcade Fire!

Something nutty like Daft Punk would be dope also!

Arcade Fire and Daft Punk would be pretty sweet! Chemical Brothers would be pretty good too. Maybe throw in a little Green Day for good measure.

I passed up the opportunity to see Daft Punk last year and I am SOOOOO choked! Certainly one of the shows of 2007!

Arcade Fire was on fire last year...their performances at Coachella, Reading, Glastonbury were nothing short of amazing!

This is the Arcade Fire on Fire! Probably one of my fave Youtube videos of last year as it really captures the energy of the live show!
