The W. Georgia turning torso thing looks awesome!

Cool list - Vancouver's got a hell of a lot of stuff happening now!

I like 801 W. Georgia. I'm sure the final building won't look that airy and light, but I like the way they break the vertical lines in the corners to have "negative" setbacks. Very cool.

We should find out the fate of 801 Georgia St. soon enough. The site was just sold.

I highly doubt anything serious would happen to 801 W. Georgia that would see anything happen but what has been proposed.

I've updated the list. I hope someone from Vancouver can keep me informed as to any new developements. Maybe even have a little rumour list here too.

^wasn't it rumoured that 1133 W. Georgia could be made taller and that many wanted it to.

Zoning allows for a 600ft tower (which is there). But there is a clause where an extra 10% of the building height can be used for Mechanical Penthouses and Rooftop "Architectural Features", meaning it could in theory be 660ft or 201m

Great list. A typical project for Vancouver would be the perfect model for a project in Atlanta. In fact... Atlanta is starting to model it's condo towers after Vancouver's.

I'm loving 1133 West Georgia.

The Ritz could be really pretty if they use the right materials
Im guessing that Elan had the same architect as the Shaw tower?
And what is the status of the Erickson?

Some updates to the list:

Two Harbour Green is now under construction.

687 Howe is still a proposed - now at 47 storeys, ~500 ft, 2009.

1235 West Pender is not a proposed - there is a tower on that site called Palladio that was completed in 2001.
