Great update! Any word on when the sky-walk will be reopened?

Not yet, they uncovered lots of hidden issues when peeling things back on this build.

So apparently the original Earls patio plans are back on. They were told at first that the Graham patio was going to have to be scrapped, and that they would look at putting a rooftop in to make up for it. Then Artis came back and said go back to the original plan, can't do rooftop, and the issues with Graham side are resolved.

Sounds like what Biff mentioned about hidden issues had made some things a bit of a moving target. They're aiming for a spring 2021 open.

If you mean the fact that the podium for the building is above street level because the mall is under it, yes. And it will actually be considerably smaller than the existing location.

The new ramp down to the street has been uncovered, it’s all Tyndall stone now as opposed to concrete. Looks nice.

Said it before but I really hope they end up removing all the rest of the planters, it’s so damn squished on the sidewalk there. So many people waiting for the bus, and it’s on my gonna get busier.

ALSO - curtain replacement at 200 Portage is moving quickly. Almost fully transparent glass, no spandrel - even over the floors. Looking good. Really unfortunate that they put private offices in right at the intersection.
